WHAT’S HAPPENING AROUND TOWN
3rd ANNUAL GET YOUR 6.6 ON ROUTE 66 A GREAT SUCCESS!
On Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 8 am, 145 participants took off in the pouring rain to run or walk 6.6k (4.1 miles) from Funks Grove to McLean to benefit our community. At the end of the run, they were treated to food and drink, live music, and a view of our great new mural. T-shirts, shot glasses, vehicle clings, and route beer float mugs are available for purchase at the McLean Depot Train Shop.

BULK ITEM CLEAN-UP DAY
Saturday, October 1
The Village of McLean is sponsoring a Bulk Clean-up Day. Area Disposal will be doing a curbside pick-up.
- For McLean residents only
- Items to be picked up need to be at the curb by 6 am
- Construction debris must be bundled, be less than 5 feet in length, and weigh less than 50 lbs per bundle
- Limit of 6 cubic yards of material per household
- Old Mattresses must be wrapped in plastic
Items that Cannot & Will NOT be taken:
- Appliances (white goods)
- Yard Waste
- Hazardous Material (oil, gas, solvents)
- E-Waste ( computers, TV’s, electronics)

If you have any questions or need additional info, please contact the Village Office in person or at 309-874-2102, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. On the day of pickup, a Village representative will be monitoring to ensure Area Disposals guidelines are followed.
