Welcome to the Village of McLean, Illinois website! Located on Route 66 at the intersection of Interstate 55 and Route 136, McLean is a quiet, friendly community that is proud to be the home of the historic Dixie truck stop and diner. On this site, you’ll find a lot of useful information about our town, from the calendar of events and details about local businesses and attractions to village meeting agendas and minutes. Not finding what you’re looking for? Contact us and let us know what you’d like to see on the site! Also, feel free to submit your nonprofit community events for inclusion on the calendar or information about your local business for the directory. We’d love to hear from you!

The Mt. Hope–Funks Grove Library has created a Satisfaction Survey that they would like to reach as many McLean residents as possible. They can be picked up at the bank, village office, and library and will be going home to daycare families, Oly South students, and Oly Middle School students. Completed surveys can be dropped in the library drop box or at the circulation desk.

Begins Friday, April 1, 2016

Notice to all Village Water Customers:

Starting Friday, April 1, we will start Flushing Water Mains using fire hydrants.

  • You may see a reduction in water pressure, discoloration, and possibly cloudy water throughout the flushing process.
  • This will affect all water customers within the Village.
  • The water will still meet all EPA requirements and is safe to drink.

The flushing cycle will take several weeks to complete.
