Village of McLean Wastewater Facility Nominated for Award
The Village of McLean wastewater facility has been nominated for an award for “Best Operated Wastewater Treatment Works” to be presented by the Illinois Association of Water Pollution Control Operators (IAWPCO) during their annual conference on April 18-20, 2016.
The purpose of the annual awards is to emphasize the relationship between adequate wastewater treatment and clean receiving waters. It also brings recognition to the communities, their officials, and the operating personnel who have operated their wastewater facilities in an especially effective manner.
Our facility was one of five nominated from more than 650 facilities considered statewide, making this nomination quite an honor.
Kudos to Greg Rutherford for an excellent job!
