Here is your reminder for the Route 66 100th Anniversary Celebration in McLean, Illinois!
As part of McLean County’s countywide "Cruisin’ Through the Century" party weekend, each town is honoring a specific decade of road-trip culture. The village of McLean has been designated to throw it back to the 1980s.

What to Expect
- Classic Car Parade: Watch vintage rides cruise through town.
- Totally Rad '80s Party: A village square celebration featuring live music and food vendors.
- Interactive Chalkboard Walls: Look out for the custom community chalkboard installed in town where you can leave your mark and sign your name to celebrate the centennial.

If you want to catch the rest of the countywide celebration this weekend, the other local towns are hosting their own decade-themed parties:

- Sunday, June 7: Normal (1950s), Shirley/Funks Grove (1970s), leading right into McLean (1980s) to cap off the weekend.
